Bluewater Psychotherapy limits the information collected through this website and uses it only for the purposes described below. Website analytics and consultation requests are handled separately.
When you request a consultation, we use the contact and scheduling details you provide to respond to your request. The form is not intended for emergencies or sensitive health information. These details are not sent to website analytics.
Umami does not use analytics cookies. It creates anonymous sessions from technical request information such as the website ID, IP address and browser user agent. The IP address is used for processing but is not stored by Umami.
Basic analytics helps us count visits and understand which pages and broad referral sources are useful. We limit the information sent to the page path, page title, referring site, and approved campaign labels. Referrer paths and unapproved URL parameters are removed. You can disable basic analytics at any time.
With your permission, enhanced analytics also measures anonymous interactions such as opening the consultation form, selecting a blog card, or successfully sending a consultation request. It may retain a Google Ads click identifier for campaign attribution. It never receives form fields, contact details, requested dates, article titles, FAQ text, or the focus area selected in the consultation form.
Search terms, including the utm_term campaign field, are not collected. Session replay, heatmaps, advertising profiles and cross-site tracking are disabled.
Your selection is stored in your browser as a necessary local preference, not as an analytics cookie. Choose to allow enhanced analytics or keep basic analytics only. You can also at any time. Changing your choice affects future collection.
We also respect the “Do Not Track” setting in supported browsers.
Analytics data is stored on the self-hosted Umami service. It is not sold or used to build advertising or health-interest profiles.
