Experience built over time. Values held every day.
My path to psychotherapy
- Both professional training and life experiences have shaped my journey toward becoming a psychotherapist and deepened my appreciation for the complexity of being human.
- My interest in psychology began long before I became a psychotherapist. Over time, my own experiences deepened my appreciation for how therapy can help us understand ourselves, process difficult emotions, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
- Today, I bring these perspectives together with my professional training to offer thoughtful, collaborative therapy tailored to the individual—making room for emotional exploration while also offering practical ways to navigate everyday life.

Education & Professional Training
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology
At the University of Guelph, I completed an independent research study examining social inequality. This work strengthened my awareness of how social, cultural, and economic circumstances can shape our experiences, opportunities, and well-being.
Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology
I completed my degree at Yorkville University, including clinical practicum experience with Wong & Associates Counselling in Toronto and Free Counselling Society Canada.
Community experience
I have also volunteered with a local hospice, an experience that further deepened my understanding of grief, loss, and the many different ways people navigate significant life transitions.
Experiences that shaped my perspective
Across cultures
Living in three countries taught me firsthand what it can mean to enter a new culture, language, and way of life.
Adapting & belonging
Adapting to unfamiliar places deepened my understanding of how personal and gradual the search for belonging can be.
Change & loss
Significant transitions and the loss of loved ones taught me that there is no single way through difficult times.
Mind & body
Nearly a decade of karate strengthened my appreciation for the mind-body connection, awareness, balance, perseverance, and mindfulness.
The values I carry forward
- 01Individuality
Each person’s circumstances, needs, and path toward healing are unique.
- 02Awareness
Understanding ourselves and our emotions can create space for meaningful change.
- 03Balance
Therapy can hold deeper emotional exploration alongside practical support for daily life.
- 04Resilience
Resilience can be strengthened as we move through challenge and change.
- 05Collaboration
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and tailored to the individual.
